Coming together as a community this Friday!

Gallery Showcase featuring Nicollo Varrella this Friday!

Please join us this First Friday for The Art of Style's Gallery Showcase featuring Nicollo Varrella. Come sip, shop, snack, and talk with the artist and others in the community as we come together to celebrate art and life. Here is a brief biography of the artist to get a feel for who he is and how he is evolving... see you from 19-22.

Niccolò Varrella is a young 24-year-old photographer. He became passionate about photography at the beginning of high school. After graduating as a surveyor, he decided to enrol in the Faculty of Architecture, which he did not finish as he realized it was not what he wanted to study. After two years spent doing various jobs, he took the decision to enrol at the Libera Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, enrolling in the photography course, where he has currently completed the three years of courses and only has to do his thesis. During his years of study he produced various fashion editorials with emerging fashion designers, some of which were published in independent magazines. In September 2022, he was selected to take part in the third edition of "Folio", the Masterclass organised by Ph Museum, during which, thanks to the tutors and other participants, he developed and concluded "Ab aqua", the project that would take him to the finals of Portfolio Italia 2023. In October 2023 he exhibited his project at the Biennale dei Giovani Fotografi in Bibbiena and won first prize at the exhibition's portfolio reading. In the same month, he also exhibited the dummy of his project at PH Museum Days 23. One of his photographs taken from the 'Valle dei Solitar' project was awarded second place at the 'Premio Fotografico 2023' organised by HuffPost Italy.

Find the joy in the little things

One thing that gives me great joy is rearranging my space to create new and exciting experiences for people. Not only does this fill my creative spirit, but it allows others to witness the interactive nature of me and my business, and is a reminder that the only constant in life is change. It is fun for me to figure out how to play with the pieces and move the furniture to completely shift the environment into something fresh, but it also gives the neighborhood something to engage with every month. I love meeting new people and having Transformative Experiences with others at TAOS. Need help cultivating more joy in your life? Schedule a session with me or work with me long term to live your life on purpose, filled with joy and appreciation. Gratitude is the first step, followed by actively searching for joy within...

Intimate Conversations with Lady Kendra
Join me every Monday at 9pm CET on Instagram Live as I talk about life and such. This is my way to have a conversation with the world about some subjects that may be taboo or touchy. For me, there is no such thing. Please feel free to leave a comment or ask a question. This week I talked about pleasure. Be a part of the conversation in person from 7-9pm at TAOS Lounge or just tune in when you have the time and follow the journey @kendraleonard...
Mindfulness and Movement
I also invite you to join me every Wednesday morning from 9-11 am as I share my mediation and yoga practice with the community. Each month I will shift the focus to a different chakra so we can not only align them, but our bodies as well. This is a safe space where all are welcome. No experience is required. Please bring your yoga mat, a bottle of water, and a 20€ donation to The Substitute Society. We will begin with deep breathing as we stretch our bodies and thank them for carrying us through each and every day. This is a time to center yourself, quiet the noise from the outside world, and love yourself as you invest time in you. Movement does a body good, and mindfulness does good for us all. See what you're capable of doing when you quiet the mind, feel your body, and breathe your way through the experience. By taking the time to be with yourself and move your body, you shake up what's stuck. For September, the focus is on the heart chakra.
Find yourself.
