Mindfulness and Movement

I also invite you to join me every Wednesday morning from 9-11 am as I share my mediation and yoga practice with the community. This is a safe space where all are welcome. No experience is required. Each month I shift the focus to a different chakra so we can not only align them, but our bodies as well. The seven main chakras play a role in the flow of energy in your body, as they all correspond to specific nerve bundles and organs. When one or more of your chakras becomes blocked or unbalanced, it can impact your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. For December, the focus is on the crown chakra. Associated with the element of thought, this energy center controls your connection to spirit, as well as your sense of universal consciousness, wisdom, unity, and self-knowledge. It's associated color is violet, reflective of its connection to spirituality and enlightenment. Come with an open heart and mind, and feel your body unwind. Love yourself.
